We Send Home Another Missionary

On August 21, 2013 we brought Sister Nielson back to the Mission Home from Zone Training in Antwerpen.  It is time to say goodbye and send her home.  Sister Nielson has been a remarkable missionary.  We have watched her grow and become one of the finest missionaries and trainers.  She is good beyond measure.  We will never replace Sister Nielson.  We love you and pray for you as you go back to your life of school and skating.  You are missed!

We treated Sister Nielson and took her out for dinner her last night here.  We went to the Blauw Tram Restaurant.  Elder Taylor and Elder Burton, our AP's, were there to enjoy the evening.

President decided to buy a pot of mussels to share with everyone.  Well, actually not me, as I don't enjoy them like President does.

I don't know if it is good news or bad news....

...he hooked the AP's on mussels.  Oh man, I can't win this game.  Now it is three to one.

Yes, Sister Nielson, you are going home in the morning.
 Didn't anyone tell you?

The next morning at the airport Sister Nielson has the opportunity to say goodbye to her family living here in the Netherlands.

Sister Nielson, we love you.  It is so hard to say goodbye to missionaries that have such a special spot in your heart.  Sister Nielson gave me a very special gift when she left.  A red bike bell.  Thank you.  It will forever be my favorite bell!!  RINNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!  RINNNNNGGGGG! RINNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

Love you!
